Rohit oversees CABBI’s research project investigating the sustainability of sugarcane cultivation for bioenergy at Buck Island Ranch. As part of this project, he maintains a network of eddy covariance towers, collects soil, water, and biomass samples for biogeochemistry modelling and analysis. His research interests include natural history, carbon cycling, conservation planning,  genomics & complex systems. His hobbies include playing the drums, working on his motorcycle & learning to paraglide.
