My name is Kathryn and I am originally from Sandusky, Ohio. I graduated from Ohio State University with a BS in Environment and Natural Resources and from University of Wisconsin-Madison with a MS in Water Resources Management. My duties on Buck Island Ranch include managing the Chemistry Lab, leading the long-term water sampling project involving the Harney Pond Canal and other ditch sites on BIR, conducting nutrient analyses on water samples in the Chemistry Lab, and co-leading on the productivity project which assesses the effects of patch-burn grazing on aboveground forage quality and biomass. In my free time I love taking sunset walks on the ranch, cross-stitching, and visiting Florida State Parks.
