Jesse earned a Bachelor's of Science from the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point and a Master's of Science from State University of New York at Binghamton. He has been working with birds since 2015, including two seasonal technician positions with Archbold at Avon Park Air Force Range. He worked as a Red-cockaded Woodpecker Biologist for FWC in 2024 before returning to Archbold and the Avon Park Air Force Range as a Florida Grasshopper Sparrow Biologist.
