Kandace is from Columbus, Ohio and after graduating with her B.S. in Wildlife Science from The Ohio State University in 2019, she traveled the country working on a variety of avian research projects. After most recently working for three years on the San Clemente Loggerhead Shrike recovery project on San Clemente Island, California, she joined Archbold in late 2024 as the Florida Scrub-Jay lead at the Avon Park Air Force Range.
